The World Class Scholars program of Envision SC is a real time, online education and cultural exchange program for students and schools in South Carolina and partner schools globally. The program enables students, both in South Carolina and around the globe, to actively engage in learning about the larger world around them, build long lasting relationships with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Our work in edmodo
We have created a group using Edmodo for all of us. It's an "educational facebook," you
can make posts, set up survey polls, submit assignments or notes (www.edmodo.com). We would love to get that dialogue and communication between the students started. Each student has created an edmodo account (www.edmodo.com) and entered in the group code.
Our students have posted some messages about their interests in edmodo and we put two survey polls (about music & sports) in order for them to respond to.

School Holidays and Entertainment
Entertainment options for teenagers during the school holiday period...
The General Secretariat for Youth organises a number of youth holiday programmes, including:
- Opportunities for young lawyers to offer legal aid to minority groups
- A programme in which medical-school students volunteer on remote Greek islands in July and August
- 'Visiting Greece', an alternative tourism programme, in cooperation with the National Tourism Organization (EOT), for young people aged 18-30
- 'Young People Getting to Know Europe', a program in which 300 pupils from Greece visit five European capitals
- Holidays and Voluntary Work programme for young people aged 18-26 at post offices in Greek tourist resorts during the summer months
- Nature's Workshop programme, in cooperation with the Scouts of Greece, for three different age groups to make young people aware, through interactive games, about the right choices regarding the environment and their daily attitude
- Local Youth Councils
- Environmental Awareness Action in fire-stricken areas in cooperation with the National Tourism Organization (EOT)
- Dance, drama, fine arts workshops and events, exhibitions, performances and mixed workshops for young people with or without disabilities
